The internet or rather low bandwidth is always a problem for images. Add audio files and it's a double whammy. If bandwidth is an issue you can view just the images by clicking on the gallery link.

I've not used the original or even the Internet Standard MP3 encoding for the music tracks as the files are still rather large to achieve comfortable download times. Instead I have used my own encodings which I've called ENC1 and ENC2 - in most cases I've used ENC1. This generally gives a hugely reduced file size for very little loss in sound quality!! If the origin music track is very long I may use ENC2 but the quality is really pants.

The various encodings are given below with associated file sizes for 'Jump' - Van Halen)

Original
320Kbps.
44100 hz.
16 bit stereo

File size 7,658 kb
IS
128Kbps.
44100 hz.
16 bit stereo

File size 3,845 kb
ENC 1
40Kbps. CBR
24000 hz.
16 bit stereo 35.3:1

File size 1,221 kb
ENC 2
20Kbps. CBR
11025 hz
16 bit stereo 70.6:1

File size 624 kb
